As the umbrella of its core competencies continued to grow, LEVICK's leadership wanted to take a fresh look at the brand and its most visual expression—the website. We helped them design an experience that focused on what matters most: LEVICK's unrelenting dedication to their clients and the urgency of now. To hone messaging that centered on their passion, CHIEF zeroed in on the driving forces behind LEVICK’s mission:

Leading with the brand gave us the opportunity to present clear signals of urgency, experience, intelligence and trust across the site experience. This approach inspired CHIEF’s entire process for the redesign, and allowed us to visualize the experience incredibly early in the engagement. Rather than present a homepage as the first design deliverable, we shared a series of distinct elements that demonstrated the brand in action.

We developed an elements collage that included interpretations of video, quotes, headlines, hero sections, case studies, blog articles and guidance for team photography. The process proved incredibly successful, accelerating stakeholder buy-in and helped us gain trust in the earliest stages of project. The visual elements collage spoke to the broad goals of the redesign:
Showcase the LEVICK team as true thought leaders in their space
Design a scalable blogging system to demonstrate the depth of content generated by the team
Tie visual cues between the brand's mission statement (Always On) and their website photography, including timestamp details on imagery throughout the website
Highlight the range of both confidential and public projects completed by the organization
CHIEF brought these goals to life in all phases of the new site’s creation. We developed robust biography detail pages with layers of related content types to capture the depth of experience and personality of each individual at LEVICK. Our dedicated development team architected a blog platform that showcased thought-provoking industry trends, core services and areas of expertise as both video and article-based experiences.
The new look introduced a strong color palette of red and black to associate the brand with the immediacy of their work. We incorporated their case studies into an interactive map that visually demonstrated their experience across the world, in both public and confidential situations. With these tools, we provided visitors with a window into LEVICK's day-to-day work and its local, national and global implications.
From the Careers page to the Practices section, LEVICK’s culture was embedded in all facets of the redesign. CHIEF brought these elements together in an immersive experience based on long-form scrolling pages with in-page navigation to bring visitors closer to the stories and experience that drive the organization. Whether their clients are navigating a complex merger or major lawsuit, the message comes through clearly that LEVICK shares their sense of urgency.
